Autumn

I'm sorry to say that it has been a while since I wrote on here but there have been various personal etc reasons. Suffice it to say that I am now able to spend more time on this platform and in my Etsy shop RedRococoGarden. I have also recently joined a Book Circle and have so far read and discussed 'Wind, Sand and Stars by Antoine St Exupery. Our next book will be 'Notes from an Exhibition' by Patrick Gale which I have read, but which we are yet to discuss. I have also joined a Poetry Circle and have had a meeting on the theme of 'Expectations' which was quite tricky but also open as to its theme so I found a couple of poems about what one might expect to find on a walk in the countryside (John Clare), and what one might expect to find but be disappointed (Carol Ann Duffy's poem on elms). Our next meeting will contain poems by the romantic poets: Byron, Keats, Shelley and Wordsworth. I have also been to quite a few events at the Cheltenham Literature Fest...
